MAYVILLE Mayville Police are looking for residents who may have items missing from storage units.

Several items have already been returned to their owners, but there is still alarge amount of recovered property in policecustody that has not yet been reported stolen, said Capt. Ryan Vossekuil.

“In the reported cases, the suspect picked the locks on the units without damaging them, andthen placed the locks back onto the storage units, making it difficult for the victims to realize that their unit had been tampered with,” Vossekuil said in a press release.
